NASIM means "breeze" in Arabic, Farsi and Turkish and is the abbreviation of our network: Network of Academics, Students and people with an Interest in the Middle East.

The main objects of NASIM are to engage in current debates regarding cultural, social and economic issues in the Middle East as well as Middle Eastern topics related to a Danish context. We also wish to promote a varied understanding of the Middle East in general and to create an interdisciplinary forum regarding academic research and an informal network for people with an interest in the Middle East.
